Amber joined Buttercup Vet Hospital in 2021.
She came to us with a long history in veterinary medicine, starting back in her hometown of Denver, CO. She has experience across all hospital roles, from receptionist to surgical tech. Her passions lie in preventative care and high-quality surgical standards. Her favorite part about her job is getting to develop people’s technical skills as well as their interpersonal skills. She has a strong background in trauma-informed care as well as TBRI that she gained from her time as a foster parent.
Amber has 3 children that she adopted from foster care. She has two senior chihuahuas that go by Vincenzo and Niko, a Golden doodle named Gibbs and a black mouth cur named Jethro. She also has one perfect tortoise shell kitty name Stevie Nicks. Amber is a very active member of her church and enjoys wine tastings and beach trips when she has the extra time!
